Over the last five years the most “controversial” issue we have dealt with is that of virus existence. However, equally contentious and known to even more people is the subject of best dietary practices. Whether it has been through our own website, Youtube, Odysee, or more recently Substack, hundreds of “experts” like to tell the Bailey family what to eat. (Or more often what NOT to eat.)
In our years of researching food, one of the most fascinating topics has been the Seventh-day Adventist Church and the origins of Big Food companies such as Kellogg’s and Sanitarium. Many people will be aware of their vegetarian themes but perhaps not why Ellen G. White and John Kellogg were so against animal-sourced food. Was it faith-based inspiration or a doctrine derived from sound scientific evidence?
In this video we look into some of the nutty “science” and the spurious use of the Bible to maintain belief systems. The journey also touches eugenics and population-wide measures such as the now (in)famous food pyramids. And lastly, why on Earth was the Adventist Church pushing COVID-19 shots as another one of their alleged health measures?…

Thank you for that very informative and honest account of healthy eating living in general. You made my day as I’ve been following most of your advice without knowing until now.
There’s surely much quackery involved in the nutrition industry, much more than I thought.
This was fascinating. You make the best videos, which is why I never miss one.
Regarding the Battle Creek Sanitarium, this was obviously an Old World building, constructed well before the official story states, and in a fashion which could not be accomplished today. The fact it has been taken over by US government agencies is heartbreaking, but expected, in the ongoing attempts to obscure the real history of the USA. Dr. Sam is lovely, with a great sense of humor! Thank you for another video that exposes the illusions that have been pushed on people. I’ve never had an Adventist explain God’s command to the Israelites to eat the roasted lamb during the Passover. Not just an option, a command: Exodus 12:8 That same night they are to eat the meat roasted over the fire, along with bitter herbs, and bread made without yeast.

I was raised SDA. I really appreciate Dr. Bailey’s very fair history of the SDA church and its “health” message. I still consider myself SDA, but I no longer ascribe to their so-called health message. It wreaked havoc on me and my family. So many SDAs are sickly, get cancer, die young now. I watched them fall like dominoes to cancer in an area where most SDAs are vegan. Questions need to be asked by SDAs about their no longer healthy status. I no longer believe in germ theory thanks in measure to the Drs Bailey. I have always had an inquisitive mind. I ask questions when things don’t add up. Through this I have discovered a keto/carnivore diet. The health of my family and myself has improved radically. Again, I am grateful Dr. Bailey has taken the time to look into the SDA’s history on the “health” message. It needed to be done.
By the way, to the commenter who mentions that Jesus did not eat meat. It was considered a sin to not eat the meat of the Passover. So we can safely assume Jesus ate lamb. At the very least. Eating clean meat isn’t a sin.

It’s got me thinking about breakfast as I do eat wholegrain oats.
Also I’m thinking of eating offal again. I come from Scotland and we all stopped eating offal because of the BSE crisis in the 80s. I don’t think I ever cooked liver or any kind of offal for my children, only occasionally haggis which was a treat, believe it or not, as it had to come from a gifted butcher! Growing up I ate lamb’s liver every 2 weeks and haggis in between.
It’s terrible that government and moguls try to control, unfortunately with great success, what we eat, it’s all about filthy lucre as usual and satisfying weird ideologies.
And the Adventists have handpicked one Scripture and weaponized it. Not an uncommon problem. Scriptures are commonly misused.
And lamb was very much on the menu all the way through the Torah and the New Testament as far as I can see.

my doctor has given me this;
50 % vegetables, 25% rice, potato or alike and 25% protein of the dinner plate.
I can eat anything I want though I always remain with natural foods.
I’ve tried many different kinds of diets, and verify I can remain health either way.
It also seems important to enjoy the food with some appreciation, and good mind state while cooking foods.
I’m sure Bill Gates would laud Kellogg as man well ahead of his time. Firstly, make people sick with your dubious unfounded diet. Then fleece them at your Sanatorium. All the while the unsuspecting victim praises your kindness and benevolence. I have no doubt that this is precisely the type of skulduggery that eventually helped Dr. Williams to see the see the proverbial light.
