When Mark and I were trained as medical doctors we were advised that it was “unethical” to give placebos, even if it cured the patient. We then worked in clinical trials research where both the placebo effect and its opposite, the nocebo effect were considered to be annoying phenomena. The pharmaceutical industry also had its own definition of “placebo”, including the injection of toxic aluminium adjuvants.
However, as we moved even further from the allopathic ‘Killing Fields’, we realised that there was something wrong with this whole paradigm. The insight coincided with our republishing the work and wisdom of Dr Ulric Williams in the book Terrain Therapy. The issue is also something that Daniel Roytas has examined, as evidenced in his pivotal publication Can You Catch A Cold?
In this video I will outline the history of the placebo and nocebo effects and how the concepts have been corrupted. It is something that is important to everyone as it includes some of the real reasons why you get sick. However, as we will see, there is a very simple path to true health and prosperity through right thinking and right living.

Bonjour Samatha & Mark and Others,

The secret of the Medicine is distract the Patient, while Nature Heals”!

Thank you very much Dr Sam great information.
Hi Sam,
You have a great example of Nocebo in your 2021 video “How Do Clinical Trials Work”, from your own experience in a phase three study.
Bravo, great video!
Thank you for another great video, Sam. What an excellent video this has been for me to start my week. Have a great week ahead!
As always, Dr. Bailey, a straightforward commentary on the fraud of the medical system. As a Christian theologian I wanted to briefly address a brief comment you made in this video. You mentioned a phrase, “the Judeo-Christian tradition.” Most of western -influenced Christianity believes that Judaism is the basis of biblical Christianity. I have discovered, and wrote about, that this idea is one of the biggest misunderstandings of what is thought as Christianity. Judaism is based on the Talmud and the study of this writing and teaching alongside of the biblical text (and much of the interpretation from the original Greek manuscripts, is in error). I provide documentation of this dichotomy in my book, Identifying Biblical Israel Today.
Permit me to offer one quote of among many that testify that Judaism is not the foundation of biblical Christianity: “This is not an uncommon impression and one finds it sometimes among Jews as well as Christians – that Judaism is the religion of the Hebrew Bible. It is of course a fallacious impression . . . whoever would seek to compare the classic Jewish traditions with the biblical world of faith and life would find some startling contrasts. . . much of what exists in Judaism is absent in the Bible,
and much of what is in the Bible cannot be found in Judaism . . . Judaism is not the religion of the Bible.” -Rabbi Ben Zion Bokser
Just as there is medical fraud, there is also religious fraud. Most believe that biblical Christianity has its foundation is Judaism and the Talmud but I wanted to introduce this topic as a challenge to what is commonly accepted as the truth. You can find all my books here: yourbiblicalheritage.com

Interesting quote by Sebe Vogel above from Voltaire, viz: ‘the secret of medicine is to distract the patient whilst nature heals’. Why a secret? An honest, up front allopathic medic will tell a patient; ‘it’s not me that heals you, it’s your own body and the drugs I give you suppress the uncomfortable symptoms whilst that process is going on (oh if only it were that pure!!). Is it ethical to ‘distract’ a patient? Does the distraction constitute or assist a placebo?
At an interview for acupuncture college the director commented that what does it matter if the ‘effect’ of acupuncture is a placebo (a common argument). My response was, because the fees charged are not warranted by ‘just a placebo’ and the deception towards the patient is unethical. Many folk visiting their doc would not be happy being told any of this. They want hard and fast, ‘you have x and y will help you’ scenarios. Taking back responsibility for oneself is not easy in a society where responsibility is often abdicated over to authority figures and engineered thus by the powers that be. But it is the only way we can survive the mass digital prison that is encroaching upon us and the first hurdle is to discard the fear.
Thanks so much!! Great information as always!
Fantastic work, once again !! 🙂 Thank you.
Great video thank you. Very important information.
Love all the information you share. God bless the work you do.
Yes, the people who knew all along, and suffered the stress of no compliance, that was me. Thanks again and again, very informative. Hopefully this video makes it into utube. So I can send it to a friend who is not yet aquented with the concept.
I appreciate your timely and well targeted content that gets to the heart of the out-of-domain and corrupted allopathic medical systems. You always have my support. I try to share with others. You know how much that can be a challenge, but the truth will prevail, and deception is being exposed. Your and Mark’s work will certainly stand as a major contribution to our transition to modes of true healing.
I doubted COVID from the very beginning, but that didn’t stop me from getting sick in early March of 2020, and it did seem to be different. I stayed in bed all day and felt like I could barely move. The main symptoms were fever and a sore throat. It cleared up quickly after that one bad day.
Very interesting, I’ve found it close to the way I see life daily. I meet people who have ‘a bad cold’ or the thing ‘that’s going around’ etc. But I don’t seem to ever get it. I did occasionally get the tingling of a cold sore years ago, I used zovirax but it seemed to do nothing, I then found on a couple of occasions that If I just concentrated on other things it seemed to never developed further, I have now done this for around ten years and have not had a cold sore since. I’m not a ‘health nut’ but would suggest I live mid-way enjoying good food most of the time and keep quite active. It is as you say – all in the mind.
